EXCELLENT Based on 269 reviews Posted on Gary SmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We called Attic Nerds to address our attic insulation and venting needs. We recently had our house repiped and now have the waterlines in the attic as well as having a complete roof and deck replacement. Chris came out to our home and did a thorough evaluation. During his inspection, he found 3 different types of insulation material in the attic, water pipes not properly insulated, evidence of rodents, and no soffit vents in place. He documented his inspection with pictures that he showed us later. He then gave us several options on what we could do to best serve our needs and budget. We decided to completely remove all the insulation and apply a uniform R60 value application. Because of the new roof there was a lot of debris mixed in with the insulation. In fact, the installer made the statement that ‘It looks like a woodchipper was in your attic”. We are glad that Chris recommended removing all the old insulation. We also tented all the water lines to better insulate them from winter bursting. After the total removal of the insulation, tenting of waterlines, and sealing all areas of air leakage, the installer asked me to come up to the attic to examine their work and explain what they had done. We also decided to insulate the area over the garage. The only problem we had was not removing everything from that area. The fine dust from the insulation covered all the boxes and items we left in the area over the garage. While they tried to keep it to a minimum and cleaned up after, it would have been best if the attic space was empty. Throughout the entire process Attic Nerds kept me informed of the progress and addressed any problems that arose. We are very pleased with the quality and communication with Attic Nerds and are looking forward to a more comfortable house and lower utility bills.Posted on Randy DuBoisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Attic Nurds worked with us to develop a plan which met our exact needs and our budget. They did an excellent job of insulating our entire attic area, and when a roofing repairman walked through our insulation and created a mess, Attic Nurds came back out and made the area as good as new again. We have been extremely pleased with their service.Posted on Sam Bev.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the pleasure of having Chris come out to audit my home for energy efficiency options. Chris was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Chris crawled all around my attic and my crawl space, using state-of-the-art tools to determine what was and was not a problem for my energy efficiency and indoor air quality. Additionally, Chris performed a blower door test and thermal imaging sweep of my home. I look forward to contracting them to fix these issues in the future, and will update my review accordingly when the time comes. I highly recommend Attic Nerds!Posted on Marilyn WilcoxTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Happy with the job they did on installing insulation in our attic. Just had Chris out to look at my gym to see why it wasn’t staying cool in there. He came out for free and told me it was my A/C system not working, not an insulation problem. Really appreciated his thoroughness and honesty because he could have just given me a quote but instead he helped me solve a problem. I will use these guys for anything insulation wise going forward.
We don’t guess. We use thermal imaging and blower door testing to find exactly what’s wrong with your home’s thermal envelope. Then we fix it—permanently.
Creating a Healthier, More Efficient Home in Jenks, OK
Homeowners in Jenks, OK, often do not realize that the space directly above their ceiling significantly impacts their daily indoor air quality. As a trusted attic insulation contractor, we know that poor coverage does more than just spike your utility costs—it creates a pressure imbalance that pulls dust and unconditioned air straight down into your living rooms. When comparing attic insulation companies, it is vital to choose a team that understands this building science relationship. Through our specialized attic insulation services, our primary goal is to completely eliminate this unwanted airflow. We utilize premium blown insulation to build a dense, filtering barrier that stops dirty drafts and traps your treated air inside.
Upgrading your home’s overall insulation drastically reduces the daily operational strain on your heating and cooling equipment. Stop breathing in dusty air and overworking your mechanical systems; contact Attic Nerds today to schedule your comprehensive evaluation and take the first step toward a cleaner, more efficient home.
How Poor Coverage Impacts Your Indoor Environment
Airborne Contaminants
Unsealed ceiling gaps allow fiberglass dust, old debris, and outdoor allergens to drift directly down into your breathable airspace.
Pressure Imbalances
Leaky upper levels create a suction effect that continuously draws unconditioned, dirty air into your pristine living areas.
Mechanical Exhaustion
Your HVAC system is forced to run non-stop to compensate for the continuous loss of treated, clean air.
Uneven Humidity
A compromised barrier lets damp outdoor air seep inside, creating an uncomfortable and muggy indoor atmosphere.
